Our
Kennels
Our kennels
provide temporary homes for the homeless dogs and cats that occupy them.
At certain times of the year, one kennel can house up to three animals
at one time.
A lot of
work goes into the care of these pets and the upkeep of each dog kennel
and cat cage. Our staff maintains more than four hundred kennels daily
at our shelters. Every day, the kennels are cleaned with a disinfectant
to reduce the spread of disease. Several times a day, the kennels are
swept clean to ensure sanitary conditions for the animals. In addition,
we feed and care for the homeless pets that occupy the kennels. This
includes relinquished pets, F.A.I.T.H. pets and F.A.S.T. H.E.L.P. animals.
On good days, pets will leave these kennels for loving homes. However,
their place is quickly taken by another pet that has been turned in
by their owner. Click here to learn
how you can help us help pets by sponsoring a kennel!
