EXPECTATIONS


Guidelines

  • You must be an enrolled student between the ages of 12 and 18.

  • After reviewing the course summary, expectations and tools, continue to download and complete the application form.

  • Fax completed form to 407-352-2070, e-mail to Elearning@ohs-spca.org ,or mail to:

  • Once we receive your completed application form, as a registered student you will have 30 days to complete each selected module.

  • Partial credit will be awarded. Community service hours are awarded per each completed module. You can either choose to complete all 4 modules, or select randomly according to hours needed.

  • Be original and creative.

  • Avoid plagiarism. This occurs when someone uses another's ideas or words without acknowledgment. You must acknowledge the source; failure to so, may disqualify you from this online community service program.

  • Avoid copyright violation. Copyright protects the rights of the creators of original works, whether published or unpublished, including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic and other intellectual works. The owner of the copyright has the exclusive rights to authorize any reproduction of the copyrighted work.

  • If you choose the written essay for your task, use 12 point font and 1.5 space line. A quality essay should be no less than 500 words, but no more than 800. Before submitting your completed work, please revise for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • We have provided resources, please use them. We recommend you cite a minimum of 3 reference sources per task.

  • All completed tasks are considered property of the SPCA of Central Florida.

  • A certificate is awarded to students who have completed modules. If you need to have a certificate of completion by a specific date; you must allow a minimum of 14 days, from the time you submit completed tasks, to be processed.
