Guidelines

  • You must be an enrolled student between the ages of 12 and 18.
  • After reviewing the course summary and expectations, continue to download and complete the registration form.
  • Fax completed form to 407-352-2070 or e-mail to Tara@OrlandoPets.org.                  
  • Once we receive your completed registration form, you will be provided with a username and password to access each module. You will have 30 days to complete each selected module.
  • Partial credit will be awarded. Community service hours are awarded per each individual module. You can either choose to complete both modules or select randomly.
  • Be original and creative.
  • Avoid plagiarism. This occurs when someone uses another’s ideas or words without acknowledgment. You must acknowledge the source; failure to so, may disqualify you from this online community service program.
  • Avoid copyright violation. Copyright protects the rights of the creators of original works, whether published or unpublished, including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic and other intellectual works. The owner of the copyright has the exclusive rights to authorize any reproduction of the copyrighted work.
  • We have provided resources, please use them.
  • All completed tasks are considered property of the SPCA of Central Florida.
  • A certificate is awarded to students who have completed modules. If you need to have a certificate of completion by a specific date; you must allow a minimum of 14 days, from the time you submit completed tasks, to be processed.
  • Upon completion of each individual module you will have earned up to 20 hours of community service.
  • Evaluation Criteria includes: originality, technique, content and effectiveness.
