The public
clinics of the SPCA of Central Florida provide high quality, affordable,
out-patient veterinary care to the pets of our region. There are no
geographic or income restrictions to access our public clinics. In fact,
clients come from the five county region (Orange, Osceola, Seminole,
Lake, and Volusia).
Our primary
mission is to prevent pet overpopulation through early spay/neuter.
So every morning, Monday - Saturday, staff vets perform surgeries. They
are highly skilled specialists, equally adept at surgery on an eight-week-old
kitten as they are on a 100- pound pregnant dog.
Keeping
pets healthy requires more than just spay/neuter surgeries. It means
regular check-ups, tests, vaccinations, as well as treatment for illnesses
and injuries. It means learning to be a responsible pet owner. It means
an ongoing relationship with a skilled vet team. There are many fine
veterinarian practices in Central Florida, and our clinics represent
just two of your choices. The staff of the SPCA of Central Florida encourage
you to be sure your pet receives regular care from the veterinarian
of your choice.

Here
are some important things to remember:
- Because
of the high-volume of phone calls received by the Medical Clinics,
you may reach voice mail when you call these numbers. If this is the
case, please leave a detailed message on the voice mail. The message
should include your name, a daytime phone number, the time you will
be available for a callback, the reason for your call, and when you
hope to schedule an appointment. The staff are committed to providing
you with excellent service. Your thoughtful use of voice mail will
help in this process.
- You
may pay by cash, check, debit card, or certain credit cards (Discover,
Visa, or MasterCard only). There is a $10 charge for "no shows"
or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
- Society
members receive a discount on general vet services (excluding the
already very low cost spay/neuter surgeries). You must present your
membership card at check-in time.
- Membership
cards are not transferable.
- Non-members
may use the vet clinics, but please note the fees charged to non-members
will be slightly higher than those charged to SPCA members.
- Senior
citizens (65 years of age or older) who are SPCA of Central Florida
members will receive an additional 5% discount for wellness services
only.
- General
vet care services in our clinics are performed only on spayed/neutered
animals or those with a medical deferment.
- There
are no geographic or income restrictions to access the clinics.
